Solutions For Foundation Settlement

When a structure has experienced settlement, it is important to solve this problem permanently. Piering is the process which transfers the weight of the structure that is sitting on unstable soil to firm bearing strata by using steel piers. We accomplish this by using steel resistance or helical piers that attach to the foundation, based on the engineering requirements of the structure.

The piers are installed and load tested. The structure can be immediately restored by transferring the load to the piers. A measured factor of safety is verified, as the piers are 100% load tested to a force greater than the actual working load.

Projects are usually completed in days, not weeks. Should conditions change, the piers can be easily inspected, tested and/or adjusted.
